SONIC BOOM MARKETING NEWS RELEASE – Parents and children will learn about about staying safe and being aware through hands-on safety activities, “Stranger Danger” classes, bike safety information and more at a Child Safety Fair being held on Saturday, March 16. The bike rodeo will be hosted by the Reno Kiwanis Club. Complimentary refreshments and product samples will be provided. This community service event hosted by Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club is provided for free in part by Sonic Boom Marketing, KNPB, Bell Photographers, Reno Sparks Cab, Great Basic Federal Credit Union, Burgarello Alarm Inc., and Martial Arts on the Move.

Parents can receive a free Child ID Kit Saturday at the Child Safety Fair and Bike Rodeo. Creating and maintaining a current Child ID Kit keeps parents and children prepared. KNPB will host a reading time with Bob the Builder to keep children entertained during the process. The KNPB booth will be located directly between the finger printing booth and photo booth.

The event is Saturday, March 16, from Noon to 3:00 p.m., between Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club on 4835 Kietzke Lane, in Reno.

KNPB provides 3 digital channels of programming on channel 5.1, KNPB Create on channel 5.2 and KNPB V’Me on channel 5.3. KNPB channels are also available on cable and satellite services.
