Boys & Girls Clubs of Nevada announce Youth of the Year awards

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF NEVADA NEWS RELEASE – Selected out of seven outstanding youth, Felix Cox, Boys & Girls of Truckee Meadows has been named the Nevada Youth of the Year by Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) for his sound character, leadership skills and willingness to give back to the community. Being named Youth of the Year is the highest honor a Boys & Girls Club member can receive. As the new teen representative for all Boys & Girls Clubs in Nevada, he will receive a $2,000 college scholarship via a private contribution from U.S. Senator Dean Heller and an additional $1,000 college scholarship from Tupperware Brands Corporation.

Alongside Felix Cox, the Military Youth of the Year award went to Angel Reynoso, Nellis Air Force Base Named Nevada Military Youth of the Year by Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Selected among outstanding military youth, Angel Reynoso, Nellis Air Force Base has been named the Nevada Military Youth of the Year by Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) for his sound character, leadership skills and willingness to give back to the community. Being named Youth of the Year is the highest honor a Boys & Girls Club member can receive. As the new teen representative for all BGCA Affiliated Military Youth Programs in Nevada, he will receive a $1,000 college scholarship from Tupperware Brands Corporation.
