For the second time, CANFEST chose to support local nonprofit The Reno Bike Project. They’re a super cool community bike shop and cyclist safety advocate organization that strives to bring better and safer biking to the Truckee Meadows. And we think that’s awesome.

Besides an cash, RBP needs one thing to keep running: bikes. They take old bikes, fix ‘em up (better than new most of the time), and then the team of bike experts either throws them on the sales floor or they donate them to various nonprofits and programs they support in the community.

We want to help with that. Spread the wheels.

So, for the 2nd year, we proudly announce our CANFEST Bike Drive. They way it works is:

Donate a bike to the RBP headquarters (there will be a few chances at various events as well), mention that its for CANFEST, and they hand you a free ticket to the event. VIP. For free. For one bike. BOOM.

You have from now until Oct 3rd to donate and cash in on the deal.

So clean out those garages, dust off the Burning Man bikes, and consider upgrading and contributing to a good cause. We’ll reward you in the process.

For more info on the RBP and location/hours, visit www.renobikeproject.com.
