The Reno/Sparks Association of REALTORS® Hosts Ninth Annual EdExpo Education and Tradeshow Event

The Reno/Sparks Association of REALTORS® (RSAR) is hosting its ninth annual EdExpo Real Estate Education and Tradeshow Event from Wednesday, May 16 to Friday, May 18 at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino. The event will feature continuing education courses taught by renowned instructors featuring current, relevant real estate topics. EdExpo provides attendees with the opportunity to enroll in the full course track and satisfy the full 24 hours of continuing education licensing renewal requirement in just three days.

Instructors include Lee Barrett, who will present “Risk Management for Brokers” and “Legislative Realtor Update 2011.” Lee teaches with 30 years real estate experience and provides practical applications that can be put to use after leaving his classes.  Also instructing is Teresa McKee, General Legal Counsel for the Nevada Association of REALTORS®

Additionally, Chandra Hall will present; she brings her passion to assist others in recognizing their unlimited potential and unique purpose in life while presenting “Dealing with the Distressed Property Reality.” With her engaging presentation style, that combines humor, knowledge, and motivation, Hall imparts to her audience that innovation + implementation = the realization of what is possible. Other EdExpo instructors include Sue Naumann, 2009 GLVAR Past President and Frank Mears, a nationally recognized speaker on agency, negotiations, distressed property and sales skills.

Lunch is included in the pricing that includes all three days. Individual course registration is also available. REALTOR® members are eligible for a discounted pre-registration price of $350 through May 4 at 5 p.m. Pricing for non-members and members who register after May 4 is $400.
As part of the event, RSAR hosts the annual Mark Twain Luncheon, which will be held on Thursday, May 17th.  McAvoy Layne, the ghost of Mark Twain, will entertain with his wit and wisdom of the Old West. McAvoy is the ghost of Samuel Clemens in A&E’s biography of Mark Twain, and in the Discovery Channel’s Cronkite Award winning documentary,Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. He is a winner of the Nevada award for excellence in school and library service. Luncheon tickets can be purchased separately for $35.
EdExpo will feature 31 exhibitors offering the latest in real estate related products and services. There will also be opportunities to win prizes and network with many local real estate professionals.
