Childhood patients at Renown Children’s Hospital were able to experience some of the fun of Halloween yesterday when employees of Spirit Halloween stores in northern Nevada and visitors from the Reno and Sparks Fire Departments hosted a party and brought in costumes, decorations, accessories, pumpkins for painting, games, crafts and other activities.
The Spirit of Children program raised more than $6,000 for Renown Children’s Hospital last year and has raised more than $4.6 million for hospitals across the U.S. and Canada since its launch in 2006.
