Truckee Meadows Water Authority to hold public workshop on Nov. 9

Learn how your water rates are set

Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) invites the community to submit public comments regarding a proposed rate adjustment at a public workshop on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m. at TMWA’s offices located at 1355 Capital Blvd., in Reno. Participants will learn how TMWA sets water rates including the costs associated with delivering water to 330,000 residents in the Truckee Meadows.

“We encourage TMWA customers to attend this workshop or one of our other public meetings,” Kim Mazeres, Director of Customer Relations at TMWA said, “We want to hear from our customers and for those who are unable to attend this workshop in person we offer other opportunities to comment publically through our website.”
