Learn how to keep your yard and irrigation system in good shape over the winter in a free Green College Class at Rail City Garden Center, 1720 Brierley Way in Sparks at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.
Rail City Garden Center owner Pawl Hollis will explain how to winterize your irrigation system and your yard. Proper care of irrigation systems is critical to avoid problems during winter months to keep the system in good shape.
Steps taken before winter can avoid costly repairs to irrigation systems.
Seating for the class is limited and reservations are recommended. Call 775-335-1551 to reserve your seat.
While the class is free, a donation of a can of food for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is suggested. A Food Bank collection barrel is conveniently located at Rail City Garden Center.
