Reno’s original Superhero Pub Crawl presented by Reno Tahoe Tonight will start at 8pm on Saturday July 16, 2011 at Biggest Little City Club at 188 California Ave. This year the event will feature 17 different bars serving $2 and $3 drink specials, and only costs $5 for a map and cup to participate in the specials.
Special VIP cups are available at the event website, www.superherocrawl.com, offering to save purchasers over half their money by granting them one $5 drink at each of the 17 bars and admission to the crawl for only $40. All proceeds from VIP cups go to support Washoe County Schools through Donorschoose.org.
Event organizers say they are expecting around 1,000 attendees on the crawl and say that past crawls have presented a light-hearted, good-natured attitude.
The Superhero Crawl is a 21 and over event. Organizers encourage drinking responsibly and treating others respectfully whether they are heroes or villains.
