Sandoval orders flags to half staff Thursday to honor Glick

sandovallogo-300x91-5622958-5002003CARSON CITY–Gov. Brian Sandoval issues an executive order today ordering the Nevada state flag to half-staff in honor of University of Nevada, Reno President Milt Glick on the day of his memorial service, expected to be Thursday.

“President Glick was a strong voice for higher education in our state and he will be missed,” Sandoval said. “It is appropriate that all Nevadans join with Milt’s wife, Peggy, his children and grandchildren, and the entire UNR family in remembering Milt this week.”

Flags will be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset for Glick’s services, expected to be Thursday. A copy of the executive order will be posted on the Governor’s website.
