SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

“Earlier this week in the wake of the tragic and sudden death of Dr. Milton Glick, a political reporter, quoting me, insinuated that I felt Gov. Brian Sandoval bore some culpability in Dr. Glick’s death. Nothing could be further from the truth. The words I spoke merely indicated that Milt Glick, a good and caring man, had a heavy heart with the cuts he was forced to make.
I have no doubt that Brian Sandoval, also a good and caring man, has an equally heavy heart with cuts being made throughout state agencies in this biennial budget. Milt expressed to me a number of times personally his deep respect and admiration for the governor.
My words, which were horribly contorted, have undoubtedly caused pain to the governor and his family, and I would like to publicly apologize for that pain.”
