RENO, Nev. – L’uva Bella Wine Gallery will host a wine tasting benefiting the Northern Nevada Chapter, American Red Cross on Friday, June 25, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The cost for the tasting, which includes light appetizers, is $35 per person. Tickets are available at L’uva Bella, online at www.nevada.redcross.org, or by calling the Red Cross office at 856-1000. L’uva Bella will also donate 10% of retail sales during the event to the chapter.
All proceeds will be used l
ocally to provide emergency assistance to families who are displaced from their homes due to fires or other disasters. Since July 1, 2009, the Northern Nevada Chapter has responded to 83 incidents and provided 328 individuals with shelter, immediate necessities and hope following home fires.
L’uva Bella Wine Gallery is located at The Summit, 13925 S. Virginia Street, Suite 248, in Reno.
