Become a volunteer and help support grieving children and teens. The Solace Tree’s next volunteer training sessions are Wednesday May 5, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, Thursday, May 6, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and Saturday, May 8, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Download the volunteer application from http://www.solacetree.org/solacetree-volunteer.pdf, then send it to The Solace Tree, P.O. Box 2944, Reno, NV 89505, along with the training fee of $25. The fee is a donation to the program and goes towards background
checks, snacks, insurance, training materials, camp supplies and power bills.

Volunteers work directly with grieving children and teens twice a month (five to ten hours) in peer support groups. A 16-hour, four-day training (with course fee) is required. Volunteers are required to make a one year commitment to the program.

The Solace Tree has been providing support for grieving children, teens and families since 2003, helping them cope with the death of their loved ones.
As a 501(c)(3) not- for-profit organization, The Solace Tree relies on philanthropy to help provide services to families. For more information on
