Collmenter made his Triple-A debut for the Aces on April 30 against the Tacoma Rainiers at Cheney Stadium, dealing seven shutout innings in a 7-2 Aces win to collect his first-career Triple-A victory. Collmenter scattered just three hits, striking out eight without issuing a base on balls in an 89-pitch effort.

Collmenter, Arizona’s 15th-round selection in the 2007 First-Year Player Draft, began the 2009 season at Advanced-A Visalia before earning his promotion to Triple-A. With Visalia, Collmenter went 2-0 with a 2.40 ERA in three starts. He has now gone two-straight outings without allowing an earned run, a stretch of 15 innings pitched.

Collmenter becomes the second player in Aces franchise history to have earned a weekly Pacific Coast League award. Last season, outfielder Brandon Watson was named PCL Player of the Week for the period of July 20–27. In that week, Watson hit for the first cycle in franchise history.

Brandon Boggs of the Oklahoma City RedHawks was named the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week.

The Aces are now back to Reno to kick-off a four-game series against the Las Vegas 51s. Monday’s opener is set for a 6:05 p.m. first pitch.

Tickets for all Aces games start at just $7, and are available by calling the Reno Aces box office at (775) 334-7000 or by visiting www.RenoAces.com. The brand-new Freight House District, located just outside Aces Ballpark, is open seven days a week, on both gamedays and non-gamedays.
