Evelyn McGuckin, RN, has been hired as the new Executive Director of Rehabilitation Services at Renown Health. She comes to Renown with vast healthcare clinical and operations experience including Chief Nursing Officer and a consultant leading facilities through successful accreditation surveys by the Joint Commission.
Prior to joining the team at Renown, McGuckin was in nursing operations at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada that included responsibility for performance improvement of 45 nursing departments, budgeting for the nursing division, contract negotiations with vendors, direct supervision of the rehab hospital and various departments.
“Evelyn is a patient advocate with a highly successful track record in physician relationship building,” said Blain Claypool, chief executive officer for Renown South Meadows Medical Center and an overseer of Rehab Services. “I look forward to her joining the dynamic leadership at Renown Rehabilitation, building on their significant achievements and leading the hospital to accreditation and regional prominence.”
