Join This Is Reno’s Bob Conrad and photojournalist Ty O’neil for a look at their new exhibition of news photography. The exhibit, “The BLC: Contrasts and Transformation,” runs from July 3 through July 14 at the Wilbur D. May Center.
Conrad and O’Neil are hosting an opening reception Friday, July 5 at 6 p.m. followed by a discussion on the contrasting ways that Reno is presented in visual journalism.
This Is Reno’s new exhibition of photos shows the contrasting and sometimes conflicting sides of the Biggest Little City. The exhibit and accompanying book are provocative and will be sure to generate discussion.
A limited number of books will be available for sale at the opening reception on Friday.
This is an official Artown event and is sponsored by the Wilbur D. May Center.
