WHY: To continue celebrating the Reno Phil’s 50th Anniversary with the annual Artown concert event and fundraiser, Pops on the River. Throw on your best tie-dyed shirt and take a trip back in time to New York’s Catskill Mountains, circa 1969. You will hear songs made famous by Janis Joplin, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Santana and more. Pops on the River is a fundraising event featuring a costume contest, raffle and an unforgettable concert.
