College Fair for High School Students Set for Sunday

Representatives from two- and four-year colleges across the country will be on hand to meet with high school students and their families from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 5 at the University of Nevada, Reno’s Joe Crowley Student Union.

The annual College Fair will also include seminars about topics pertaining to college, such as financial aid, scholarships, housing, entrance exams, and how to write a college essay. The Washoe County School District and Western Association for College Admission Counseling are putting on the event.

Students planning to attend can register in advance at www.wacaccollegefair.com. Those who don’t sign up ahead of time can register when they arrive.
