A kiss is not just a kiss. From awkward to passionate, “Stage Kiss” offers plenty of kissing, with a comedic twist.
Bruka Theater starts its 24th season with “Stage Kiss”, written by Sarah Ruhl and directed by Christopher Willson. This is a delightfully funny tale of love, betrayal, and forgiveness. With a theme of art imitating life, this complex but easy-to-digest story follows a woman through her journey of exploring past love and letting go of her present love just to find her future love in a place perhaps unexpected.
I found this play to be just what I needed on the night I saw it. Very funny with adult themes and very well acted, this is a great opening to Bruka’s 24th season. Check out the photos below for a sneak peak of what you will see.
