Food, music, wine, food, stilts, and did I mention food? Downtown Reno turned to our own little slice of Italy this past weekend. Many came out to celebrate Italian culture and enjoy the Italian dishes — and I’m not talking about just pizza and spaghetti — at the 35th Annual Italian Festival. Music was played by artists who are proud of their Italian homeland. It was refreshing to see the attendees dance, sing and eat like there was no tomorrow. That is the Reno we want to see taken back to Italy.
