The Nevada Museum of Art on West Liberty Street has turned its focus homeward with the opening of its new Nevada-centric exhibit. The exhibition, officially titled Tilting the Basin: Contemporary Art of Nevada, officially opened to the public on August 5th and will run through October 23rd.
Tilting the Basin, which was created to provide a combined space for both Northern and Southern Nevada art, features artists from all over the state. Â The artists range from the New Zealand born Matthew Couper who now lives in Las Vegas, to Joseph DeLappe, a professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, and his former student Pete Froslie.
General admission prices for the museum are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
