The Nevada Museum of Art on West Liberty Street has turned its focus homeward with the opening of its new Nevada-centric exhibit.  The exhibition, officially titled Tilting the Basin: Contemporary Art of Nevada, officially opened to the public on August 5th and will run through October 23rd.

Tilting the Basin, which was created to provide a combined space for both Northern and Southern Nevada art, features artists from all over the state.  The artists range from the New Zealand born Matthew Couper who now lives in Las Vegas, to Joseph DeLappe, a professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, and his former student Pete Froslie.

General admission prices for the museum are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
