Fall Harvest Festival benefits Nevada Craft Brewers Association, American Cancer Society

Brewers from around the state are gathering for a festival that is the first of its kind in Nevada on the field of the Reno Aces ballpark.

The Fall Harvest Festival, set for Saturday, Oct. 10, was organized by local marketing and government affairs firm, Draper Strategies, and well-known northern Nevada brewers, Under the Rose Brewing Co.

The event is planned to feature more than 30 brewers from around the state, local food trucks and live music from some of the region’s most popular musicians. Proceeds for the event will benefit the Nevada Craft Brewers Association and the American Cancer Society. For tickets and more information, visit www.fallharvestfest.com.

“This event is going to be unlike any other and we are excited to bring together industry experts from around the state to showcase what Nevada’s craft brewing scene has to offer,” said Scott Emond, owner and brewmaster at Under the Rose. “We have live music, great food and excellent beer made in Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe and everywhere in between, as well as a few well-known special guests, and we are looking forward to putting on a truly great event.”

Tickets start at $50 for pre-sale general admission, $60 for day-of general admission and $70 for VIP. Both general admission and VIP tickets include admission into the event, unlimited beer tastings and one meal from the food truck of their choice.

To ensure everyone has a safe ride home, designated driver tickets are available the day of the event at the Reno Aces box office for $15.

“We really wanted to create an event that is unique to our region and really highlights the burgeoning brewing industry in our state, while also celebrating our talented local music scene and the unique and tasty offerings of our local food truck industry,” said Mike Draper, partner at Draper Strategies. “This festival is the first of its kind, not only by nature of the event but it is also the first event to be held on the field inside the Aces stadium.”
