Northern Nevada Literacy Council (NNLC) is hosting the annual Spellbinder event Thursday, September 24 from 5:30 to 9:30 pm at the Boys & Girls Club at 2680 East Ninth Street.
The event is a corporate team spelling that is raising money for the Northern Nevada Literacy Council. This year’s theme is Dr. Suess, and words such as “truffula” or “quimney” or “diffendoofer” may show up at Spellbinder 2015.
The NNLC provides free GED prep classes and ESL to adults who want to change their lives.
