Justin Race was announced today as being appointed director of the University of Nevada, Press. In an email to faculty and staff, Kevin Carman, executive vice president and provost at UNR, said Race will start July 1.
Race is a graduate of Tufts University and the University of Chicago. He is coming from the publisher Rowman and Littlefield, where he is an acquisitions editor.
“My thanks to Joanne O’Hare, who has directed the press for the last 14 years and overseen its forthcoming transition to UNR and recent move to new offices in our Continuing Education Building,” Carman wrote.
