The Summit Awards were held April 11 at the National Automobile Museum. The awards recognize the success of distinguished commercial agents, brokers, developers, property managers, and commercial projects in northern Nevada.
Bently Enterprises and Miles Construction were both honored during the awards for the exceptional work in renovating the 100 year old Farmers Bank building in Minden, with Miles Construction converting it to a LEED certified office space for Bently Enterprises.
“All of us at Miles Construction congratulate the Bently Enterprises team on their recognition for this project,” Cary Richardson, vice president of business operations at Miles Construction, said. “Bently Enterprises has a vision for sustainability that fits well with our mission at Miles, making it a fantastic project for us to work on.”
Miles did quite a bit to the building to lower the environmental impact it was making, including new energy systems, more windows to allow for more natural light, and radiant heating and cooling, as well as chilling beams.
“We look forward to working with Bently Enterprises on additional projects in the Minden area and doing our part to continue the revitalization of the community with sustainable and environmentally conscious efforts,” Richardson said.
