April 12, 2015

Around 9:30 a.m., a white male in his 30s entered a store in the 4000 block of South Virginia and attempted to rob it, but the clerk refused to cooperate. The suspect then went to Ball Park Market at 125 W. Moana Lane where he took an undisclosed amount of money. Around 4 p.m. the same day, Kepler Harrison was arrested for robbery and attempted robbery without incident.

April 13, 2016

Jenna Locarnini was located in the area of 2520 Pyramid Way shortly after being the victim of assault and domestic battery. When found, Locarnini was assessed and not in need of medical attention.

Marissa Kirkley was arrested on charges of domestic battery, O&R, and battery on an officer on Largo Drive.

Three suspects are wanted for throwing rocks through windows of several businesses on West Moana Lane. The suspects are described as: #1: black male juvenile, last seen wearing a white & black jacket, #2: unknown race male juvenile, last seen wearing dark colored pants, #3: unknown race male juvenile, last seen wearing light colored pants, and #4: two hispanic female juveniles last seen wearing black pants.

There was a report of a home invasion on Amston Road. The victims woke to find the suspects attempting to steal property from the home. The victim screamed causing the suspects to flee with their keys. The suspect is described as an unknown race male adult, 7’, and last seen wearing a black sweatshirt.

April 15, 2015

A juvenile suspect was arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle on Double Diamond.

April 16, 2015

Incline Village resident Pamela Kircher was arrested on charges of embezzlement related to an Incline Village business. She embezzled more than $850,000 over a seven year period. Kircher worked as a housekeeper throughout the are and it is believed there are other victims.

There was a residential burglary on Wonder Street. The victim awoke to find the suspects ransacking her room and other parts of her home. She was able to flee and get help. The suspects are described as two or three unknown race males.

Lee Orozco was arrested on charges of vehicle burglary, carrying a concealed weapon, ex-felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia at Fourth and Montello.

Officers responded to a report of battery with a deadly weapon on Evans. The victims involved had non-life threatening injuries and there are no suspects at this time.

Officers responded to a report of shots being fired at Clear Acre and McCarran. There were no injuries reported and the investigation is ongoing.

April 17, 2015

Officers responded to a report that a women had been beaten and was at Renown having her injuries assessed. She had been severely beaten and was covered in bruises. Her face was so bruised she was unrecognizable and there was a bruise in the shape of a shoe on her back. Martin Overland was arrested on charges of attempted murder, domestic battery causing substantial bodily injury, domestic strangulation, false imprisonment, and domestic battery. The victim is recovering at Renown and her injuries don’t appear to be life-threatening.

There have been a number of reports of vehicles being broken into in the overnight hours. Sparks Police remind citizens to remove valuables from their cars and secure them when unattended.

April 18, 2015

A young male victim was dropped off at Renown with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. He told medical personnel that the incident occurred in Sparks and was subsequently uncooperative with authorities. It’s likely the incident occurred at 2330 Wedekind Avenue in Reno. The investigation is currently ongoing.
