The Sierra Nevada Zoological Society announces the 2015 season opening to the public on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 pm, seven days a week through the end of October.
The Zoo has rare and unusual – to northern Nevada – animals such as Sloths, Lemurs, Lions, Zebras, Camels, Hyenas, Cavies, Leopards and Kalika, the rare female Liger.
Sierra Safari Zoo is the Biggest Little Zoo in Nevada with over two hundred animals and forty species for the education and intermingling of young and old alike.
