For two weekends in April, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be offering its 25 hour training course, open to the public. CERT Academy training includes disaster preparedness, emergency medical techniques, fire safety, light search and rescue, disaster psychology, and terrorism awareness education. Officers responded to a burglary in progress on Selmi, only to discover there was no burglary and the resident was trying to remove the suspect from his property. Brandon Faber was arrested for trespassing.
A robbery on Kietzke Lane resulted in an undisclosed amount of loss. The suspect is described as a white male adult, late 20s-early 30s, 6’ tall, average build, rough voice, and was last seen wearing a black ball cap, black jacket, and black pants.
Jared Stricker was arrested for a strong armed robbery on South Virginia Street after the suspect accused the victim of stealing someone else’s property.
There was a residential burglary on Oakley Lane. The suspects are described as black male juveniles or Asian male juveniles wearing black sweatshirts.

There are no suspects in a commercial burglary on Longley Lane that resulted in an unknown amount of cash being stolen from the register.
Jessica Sollini was arrested on charges of domestic battery and DOP on Newport Lane.
David Morlet was arrested for extortion on Mindi Lane.
A victim was confronted and a brief struggle ensued during the confrontation on South Virginia Street. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male juvenile riding a silver bicycle.
Two are accused of robbery with elderly enhancement. The victim’s purse was stolen when the suspects grabbed it as they ran by her. The suspects are described as: #1—white male adult, mid-20s-mid-30s, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and tan pants; #2—white female adult, wearing dark clothing; #3—white male adult, wearing dark clothing.

Police are searching for a suspect in the robbery of an Incline Village pharmacy. Around 11:30 a.m. the suspect entered Village Pharmacy making off with an undisclosed amount of medication. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately six feet tall and heavyset.
Jeremy Tester was arrested last work for a string of burglaries in the Reno area and now police are seeking the public’s help in finding the stolen property. Call Secret Witness if you have any information: 775-322-4900.

Officers responded to a report of a strong arm robbery in the 1000 block of I Street. The victim said he was walking in the area when he was approached by two suspects demanding his wallet. When he didn’t comply, he was roughed up and the wallet was stolen. The suspects are described as either white or Hispanic males in their 20s.

Suspects are being sought in the early morning break-in at Super Burrito, 500 E. Plumb Lane. Surveillance video shows the suspects making off with an unknown amount of food and cooking equipment. They were driving an older white cargo van with tinted windows and chrome rims. One suspect is described as Hispanic or African-American, thin build, and last seen wearing a tan jacket, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. The other suspect was not captured on video.
Gary Phillips has been assessed as a Tier III sex offender living in the 300 block of Record Street. He is currently unemployed; Phillips is in compliance with all sex offender laws and is not currently wanted by law enforcement.
Officers responded to a report of battery with substantial bodily harm on Wells Avenue. The suspects refused to leave the room, as someone else reported a victim needed assistance in another room. The victim was transported to a local hospital with extensive facial injuries. The suspect is described as a black male adult, 5’6”, short hair, and clean shaven.
Michael Wollsey was arrested on multiple charges after being seen creeping around Meadowood Mall.

Timothy Fonseca was arrested at the Aloha Motel on charges of being a wanted fugitive. He was charged with two outstanding warrants and more may be forthcoming.
A young man was approached in the parking lot of 7-11 at 250 Pyramid Way by a group of young men. His wife was in the store while he waited in the car with his young daughters. An argument ensued and shots were fired, but the suspects had disappeared by the time officers arrived. A 17 year old shooter and Jesse Mays were arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment, minor in possession of a firearm, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and provoking an affray.
