The City of Reno would like to inform the public that there is currently one vacancy on the Reno City Planning Commission. The position is open to the public, but the City hopes to attract applicants who live in Ward 3.

To apply, visit Reno.gov, call the Reno City Clerk at 334-2030, or email [email protected].
The Reno City Planning Commission advises the City Council on the long-term physical development of the City, including such issues as natural resources, economics, housing, population, land use, and zoning. The Planning Commission reviews all major development projects proposed within the City and also provides a forum for public comment on issues dealing with development.
The Commission usually meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Terms are four years, and members are appointed by the City Manager and approved by City Council.
