Uber rides again — in Vegas

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Good news for Uber fans in Las Vegas. According to the Las Vegas Sun, a restraining order was shot down today by Judge Douglas Herndon in Clark County, stating that Uber doesn’t pose a threat to public safety and should be allowed to continue operating until the next court hearing, scheduled for Nov. 14.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t really help us up here in Reno because on Tuesday the ridesharing program did get a restraining order against them from a Washoe County judge, although the order is only temporary.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens in court.
