Art Walk Reno features more than than 100 artists in July

See the artwork of more than 100 artists in restaurants, galleries and businesses in the downtown Reno Arts District during Art Walk Reno.

On July 3, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., local and regional artists will have art in 14 stops, between Liberty Street and Second Street, and Virginia Street and Arlington Avenue.

The walk officially begins at 5 p.m. at Liberty Fine Art Gallery, 100 West Liberty Street. There, you can purchase a ticket, for $10, which includes a glass, raffle ticket and program for the evening. The event ends with a raffle drawing at Z Pie in West Street Market. Prizes include a $200.00 voucher good towards any piece of art shown on the walk.

The featured artist for July is Mallory Mishler. A limited-edition, hand-painted glass by Mallory Mishler is included in the $15 ticket.Limited Edition prints of “Andrew the Chariot” from the upcoming Tarot Card Series also will be available for purchase.

A portion of this month’s proceeds will benefit The Eddy House, a non-profit organization that provides supportive residential housing to young adult males who have “aged out” of the foster care system.
