HARRY REID NEWS RELEASE
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Nevada Senator Harry Reid met this week with a delegation of local, regional, state and public agency leaders from Northern Nevada that joined together for a “Shared Federal Framework” coalition to better highlight the region’s priorities. They discussed transportation, lands, and renewable energy, the potential listing of the greater sage grouse as an endangered species, and numerous transportation priorities throughout the region.
“I was pleased to meet with the Shared Federal Framework Coalition to discuss these vital infrastructure and lands projects for Northern Nevada. We must do everything we can to grow the economy and create jobs, especially as Nevada’s economy continues to recover,” Reid said. “These issues and projects we discussed are important to me, and I look forward to working with the coalition to help make these projects a reality.”
