Upcoming Deadlines for Greater Sage-Grouse and Bi-State Sage-Grouse Projects

Comments on the Bi-State Sage Grouse Draft Environmental Impact Statement that proposes amendments to the Toiyabe National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan and BLM Resource Management Plans on the Battle Mountain and Carson City districts are due January 17. Comments on the Nevada-Northeastern California Greater Sage-grouse Draft Land Use Plan Amendments and Environmental Impact Statement are due January 29. Comments on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposal to protect the Bi-State Distinct Population Segment of greater sage-grouse as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act and to designate approximately 1.86 million acres of critical habitat are due February 10.
