2501-300x168-1192007-7411832NEVADA MUSEUM OF ART NEWS RELEASE – Thursday, November 14, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., join the Nevada Museum of Art for its “Premiere lecture: Phillip Dennis Cate on Toulouse-Lautrec and La Vie Moderne.”

Phillip Dennis Cate, curator of internationally-travelling exhibition Toulouse-Lautrec and La Vie Moderne, and editor of accompanying catalogue, explores the too-short life and revolutionary work of legendary artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. On view now at the Nevada Museum of Art, the exhibition features more than 185 objects, ranging from paintings, watercolors, and drawings, to rare cabaret shadow puppets, illustrated theater programs, and other ephemera from Parisian theaters, circuses and concerts.
