RENO, Nev. – University of Nevada senior guard Jerry Evans scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the Wolf Pack’s 98-57 victory over Montana Tech on Monday night at Lawlor Events Center. The Pack opens the regular season at home on Friday at 7 p.m. when Pacific comes to Reno.
All nine players that saw action scored in the game led by Evans’ 28 points. Senior Deonte Burton added 12 points and junior Michael Perez had 10 in his first action in the Silver & Blue.
The Pack shot 52.5 percent for the game and made 11-of-26 shots from behind the arc. Nevada totaled 23 assists as Perez had a game-high seven. Nevada dominated the boards 43-27 as all nine players had at least one rebound.
