Celebrate the season by bringing the family to Rancho San Rafael Regional Park’s “Meet the Turkeys” open house on Nov. 9 and 23, 2013. The events are from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Activities include family crafts and a story corner inside the Wilbur D. May Museum, a scavenger hunt in the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and the chance to meet live turkeys and find out why Benjamin Franklin thought them worthy of being named the national bird. Park Ranger Marie Fong will provide more turkey facts.
