Hosted by the Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN) Department of Legislative Affairs, Late Nate with a Legislator is a monthly series that connects University students with state lawmakers. This event series provides students the opportunity to discuss relevant issues with the lawmakers in an open forum.

The event is limited to 40 students in order to provide an intimate setting that will allow students to discuss certain policy questions affecting Nevada students more thoroughly. Tea and hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

This event is one of many offered by the ASUN, which helps promote civic engagement on the University campus. Also sponsored through the Department of Legislative Affairs will be a Leadership Luncheon with University President Marc Johnson on Oct. 15 and the Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Learning Conference on Nov. 2.
