Date:

40 DAYS FOR LIFE NEWS RELEASE

40 Days for Life Reno Tahoe logoThe “40 Days For Life” campaign wraps up on Sunday, March 24, at 3 p.m. in front of the abortion center at 5915 Tyrone Rd.

So far, the international 40 Days For Life 2013 effort has resulted in 423 known babies saved from a death they never chose.

There will be music, speakers and prayer at this rally. We will be acknowledging the completion of 40 Days for prayer and fasting, peaceful vigil and community outreach as we pray to end abortion.

While abortions have not yet stopped, neither will the continued prayers cease, but this intense period of 40 Days for involvement are coming to a conclusion. All are invited to join us as we gather one more time in prayer.

About 40 Days for Life
40 Days for Life is an innovative pro-life project that includes 40 days of prayer and fasting, peaceful vigil at abortion facilities and grassroots educational outreach. The 40-day time frame is drawn from examples throughout Biblical history where God brought about world-changing transformation in 40-day periods, as well as the Christian season of Lent. Since its inception in College Station, Texas, in 2004, nearly six thousand babies have been spared abortion, 69 abortion workers have left their jobs, and 24 abortion sites have closed. 40 Days For Life now involves Carson City, Reno and 315 other locations in six countries and has taken place locally since 2007.
