Special hours at museum – The Discovery to be open on Presidents Day

D27A6BC7-96CD-42CE-AB7C-8E627DB6F68A This Is RenoDISCOVERY MUSEUM NEWS RELEASE The Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum (The Discovery) will be open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Presidents Day, Monday, February 18th, a day the museum is normally closed to the public.

“When school’s out, parents often look for engaging activities for their children,” said Patrick Turner, marketing & PR manager. “The Discovery offers immersive, educational and fun activities for the entire family.”

The Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum (The Discovery) is a locally founded nonprofit 501c3 organization. The Discovery’s vision is to be the community’s center that inspires curiosity, creativity and the joy of lifelong learning. The museum provides opportunities to discover science, art, local history and more through open-ended, interactive and fun exhibits and hands-on educational programs. Explore a cave, construct a house, race across Nevada, and climb into the clouds – these are just some of the many adventures found at The Discovery.
