Ken Dillon, president of D & D Roofing and Sheet Metal, has announced that Barbara Ries has been hired to be the company’s new controller.
“I know that with Barbara’s extensive accounting experience she is perfectly suited for the demanding and challenging tasks of her new position. I am confident that she will be a positive asset to the company. She has been an account for over 25 years,” said Dillon.
Ries has lengthy experience in the construction industry working with heavy civil construction with Pomeroy Corporation in Northern California. She grew up on Philadelphia, Pa., and came west to attend and graduate from San Jose State.
D & D, which is 100 percent employee owned, has its headquarters in Sparks, with other offices in Carson City, Elko and Portola in California.
