SPARKS — It has come to the attention of the Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA) that false reports of possible theft of Virginia range estray/feral horses is traveling through electronic media. NDA wants to assure citizens that this is false and there have been no reports that any individual is attempting to illegally capture state horses. At no time has a state brand inspector reported to command, or any citizen’s, theft activity on the Virginia Range.
