SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE
Renown South Meadows Medical Center and Renown Regional Medical Center remain ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, as the top two performing private acute care hospitals in the entire region by HealthInsight.
HealthInsight publishes quarterly rankings based on patient results in four medical areas, including:
· Heart attack
· Heart failure
· Pneumonia
· Surgical care
Top rankings mean medical professionals working at Renown South Meadows and Renown Regional provided treatment known to get the best results for patients.
Blain Claypool, CEO, Renown South Meadows, and Greg Boyer, CEO Renown Regional, said they were encouraged to see repeat consistency in receiving the recognition.
“It demonstrates the hard work and dedication of physicians and employees at Renown who continually make quality care a top priority,” Claypool said. “At Renown Health, quality involves the patient’s total experience-from the first phone call to the last appointment.”
“At Renown Health, we understand that people make healthcare choices based on information about medical expertise, safety, technology and the quality care they will receive,” Boyer said. “For us, quality healthcare means providing the best medical skill, expertise and technology available to patients through the kindness and hope of employees and the physicians who work and practice here.”
