Truckee Meadows Community College will offer late start classes beginning in mid to late September with many courses beginning Monday, Sept. 19.
Late start classes are open to all TMCC students who applied for admission to the college by the newly implemented Aug. 1 deadline regardless of whether or not the students are currently registered for classes in the fall semester. To register, students must complete the Required Enrollment Steps accessible through My TMCC on www.tmcc.edu.
Students interested in registering for late start classes may view availability on the Additional Search Criteria in the online searchable class schedule. Sessions for late-start classes are listed as Dynamic Dated (DYN) or Dynamic Dated Intensive (DYI). Payment for late start classes including tuition and fees must be made within 48 hours after enrollment.
The following is a sample of some of the general education courses being offered as late start classes:
- Core Humanities 201 (CH)
- Computer Information Technology 100 (CIT)
- Criminal Justice 101 and 102 (CRJ)
- Economics 102 (ECON)
- English 101 (ENG)
- Remedial English 100 (ENGR)
- History 101 (HIST)
- Information Systems 101 (IS)
- Math 126 and 127 (MATH)
- Nutrition 121 and 223 (NUTR)
- Psychology 101 (PSY)
