Sen. Harry Reid is planning a “telephone town hall” for Friday, Aug. 28. His Web site says the live event will be for “small business owners, health care providers, seniors and any other Nevadans interested in voicing their opinions and asking questions about health insurance reform.” A time is not provided.
Thousands of homes in Nevada will be dialed on that date, and those interested in joining the town hall can do so by pushing a button when they receive the call. Nevada residents (702 or 775 area code required) who are interested in participating can also sign up online. A name, e-mail address and phone number are required. The call will be toll-free.
