harryreid1-150x150-8852626-8061791WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Harry Reid today released the following statement after the Chief’s Report for the Truckee River Floor Management Project was signed:

“I’m pleased that the chief of engineers, who is the commanding general of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has signed the Chief’s Report for the Truckee River Flood Management Project. This is a critical step forward towards providing vital protection to families and businesses in the Reno-Sparks area from devastating flooding, like they’ve experienced in the past.  I will continue working as Nevada’s senior Senator and Majority Leader to authorize and fund this important project.”
