Washoe County School District on Thursday said all of its district schools, including in Incline Village, would be on a two-hour delay. Ongoing inclement weather has caused snarls for school buses throughout the week as student complete their final days of classes before winter break.

District officials in their notice also requested local drivers be aware of the shift and watch for students who may be at bus stops or walking to school at different times that usual.

Gov. Steve Sisolak also ordered a two-hour delay for state government offices, except for essential public safety and corrections personnel, for areas in Carson City, Washoe and Douglas counties.

University of Nevada, Reno’s main campus is open and operating on schedule. Its Redfield Campus in south Reno is on a delay and opens at 10 a.m.
