Select Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association / One Nevada Credit Union State Championship football games will be played Thursday, November 18 in Allegiant Stadium, the NIAA announced today.

The “2021 NIAA / One Nevada Class 5A & 4A State Football Championships, presented by the Las Vegas Raiders,” will be played at Allegiant Stadium based on the current alignment and playoff format for those classifications. The Class 2A state final also will be played at Allegiant Stadium so long as at least one southern Nevada-based team has qualified for the game. The NIAA’s Class 1A and 3A championship games are slated, by rotation, to be played in Northern Nevada in 2021.

“Having Allegiant Stadium serve the community is one of the Raiders’ most important goals. We are honored to host the teams that will play in the state championship games and welcome their respective student body, fans and families to Allegiant Stadium,” said Raiders President Dan Ventrelle.

Allegiant Stadium is home to a permanent installation that honors Nevada high school football — The Battle Born large display with the helmets of 96 NIAA teams was unveiled in September — courtesy of the Raiders and Intermountain Healthcare. Additionally last April, the Raiders opened Allegiant Stadium to southern Nevada high school football teams selected by the Clark County School District to conduct spring practice sessions and intrasquad scrimmages.

“The NIAA’s membership and participating student-athletes, coaches and contest officials are sincerely appreciative of the Raiders’ commitment to the excellence of Nevada high school football,” said Donnie Nelson, interim Executive Director of the NIAA. “The NIAA and its statewide title partner, One Nevada Credit Union, are about creating positive and memorable experiences for our student-athletes. To have our state’s professional football organization step up like this and provide a first-class experience for one of our education-based activities shows how invested the Raiders are to our community.”

Kickoff times for the 2021 NIAA / One Nevada State Championship games, presented by the Las Vegas Raiders, will be announced November 13 after the state semifinal games have been completed in each classification. Tickets will go on sale through the NIAA’s mobile/digital partner, HomeTown Ticketing, on November 14.

“It’s a thrill of a lifetime for a high school football player to get to play in a premier professional football stadium,” said Paul Parrish, One Nevada President and CEO. “We’re excited to see Nevada high school football players having the chance to compete in the state championships in this new state-of-the-art venue.”

Ticket prices will be $12 for adults and $5 for students. Details about parking, gate admission, fan seating, and other game and spectator-related logistics will be announced soon. For more information about any of the NIAA’s state championship playoffs, please visit niaa.com or the NIAA Live app.
