When Greg Mason opened his advertising agency in 1988 in Reno, Nevada, he never dreamed that three decades later Greg Mason Advertising Arts, now GMAA Group, would be continuing to serve clients in the Western U.S. with award-winning design, advertising and marketing services.

“The business has changed so much since we first opened our doors,” founder and creative director Mason said. “GMAA Group has been my dream come true thanks to an amazing team and fantastic clients who have allowed us to bring their visions to reality in the form of design and advertising.”

GMAA specializes in outstanding design and visual communications, said Mason, who is a trained designer and creative director. The agency works in digital, print advertising, television and collateral creation and has a team that excels in web and digital with in-house video and editing.

GMAA’s first client was Bill’s Casino, said Mason, referring to the former boutique casino owned by Harrah’s at Stateline, Lake Tahoe. Specializing in gaming and events, GMAA’s clients over the years include: Harrah’s Reno, the Lodge Casino and Gilpin Casino both in Colorado, Coca Cola, Harvey’s Resort Lake Tahoe, Reno Rodeo, Hot August Nights, Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City, Oregon, Isleta Resort Casino in Albuquerque, Wendy’s, Fallon Convention & Visitors Authority and Heritage Bank, to name a few.

GMAA Group has won numerous awards for their work over 30 years, ranging from a Clio Award, and honors from Sierra Nevada Craftsmen, Telly Awards, Silver Microphone, Summit Awards to multiple ADDYs.

This year the agency opened their first satellite office in Newport Beach, California, to better serve clients in Southern California.
