Despite some predictions that parts of the Truckee River would flood, the high waters over Friday and Saturday showed little evidence of flooding that has devastated parts of the region in the past.

The Reno Airport received .3 inches of rainfall, according to the U.S. National Weather Service, while Sparks received .44 inches. High flows in the Truckee are expected to continue in the coming days while weather warms.

The North Valleys continue to have flood problems. Swan Lake has gained more moisture with recent storms, and Lemmon Drive is closed again due to flood concerns.
