Cadets in the Hug High School JROTC program hold Carnival for a Cause from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 to raise awareness and gather support for victims of disasters that occurred nationwide last year.

The carnival will be in the large gymnasium at the school, 2880 Sutro St.

“Awareness booths” will highlight obstacles created by Hurricanes Irma, Harvey, and Maria; as well as the California wildfires and mass shootings in Las Vegas and Sutherland Springs, Texas. Items and services from various businesses will be raffled off with proceeds being donated to victims of the various disasters. Food and games will also be on hand.
