Crawl organizers Ed and Heidi Adkins have set up shop at the former Singer Social Club downtown. The new pub crawl headquarters, called Headquarters, or HQ, locates their operation in the heart of the area where their crawls happen.

“After 10  years of putting on some of the largest bar crawls in the nation … (we’re) creating a space of (our) own,” the couple said.

Headquarters is described as “quirky” but welcoming. It has free parking, a music space and dancefloor, and, of course, a full bar.

“Since this is also (our) events company, Crawl Reno’s actual headquarters, the bar will display hundreds of photos from past events that people can sign if they see themselves in,” they said. “Weekly events will draw patrons with themes like slow jams Sundays, Saturday morning cartoons with boozy cereal, and a naughty trivia night.”

The Adkins duo is seeking community support for the new location with a GoFundMe campaign. They said that they’ve aimed to create a space they’d want to have fun in themselves, and that they will work to make sure everyone feels welcomed.

“Headquarters is hosting a GoFundMe campaign to complete their vision and get necessities like beer taps, with rewards including t-shirts or a portrait permanently hanging in the bar,” said Adkins.
